COVER SYNOPSIS:

I will not eat. I will not eat. I will not eat.
I will not eat. I will not eat. I will not eat.

Lia constantly repeats should not eat. In life there's only room for calorie counting, exercise when forced to ingest a quantity of food that she considers too. Always. But now her friend Cassie, who came to terrible agreed to become the thinnest of the institute, has died and haunts her dreams, because he wants to take her, do not want to be alone on the other side.

PERSONAL OPINION:

This book is about eating disorders suffered by thousands and thousands of girls worldwide.

Since
begins we get into the skin of Lia, one of these girls. The book is told from the viewpoint of Lia, so we can know everything you think in those moments and why he does what he does.

not feel good about themselves, body, and there is always a voice in your head that says you are fat and ugly and she can not eat.

"(...) My hands lift the bowl to my lips again time. A white velvet linens envelop me. The thunder in my abacus calculation: 340 grams hot chocolate = 400, but I'm freezing. need to drink from a chocolate drink and order another take a sip and ignore the taste. (...)"

As the book progresses we realize that Lia does not feel good in your body for other reasons, much more emotional, related to his family, his best friend, and life in general.

suffer a lot and to avoid that other sentient hidden their pain through Do not eat, because he thinks that if you thin will feel better, but there comes a point where they no longer stand the pain he carries inside and do something else to kill your body's hunger is cut, it cuts so the pain leave ...

Lia is a very troubled girl who lives with his father, his new wife and daughter and did not get along with her mother. To top that was her best friend just died and some months but not spoken by a discussion feels guilty about his death, since the night he died he called 33 times and not picked up the phone, and died alone.

That makes her suffer and now sees his friend everywhere, tormenting, and saying he wants to die so that they are both together again.

This book is very well told and makes you put you squarely in it. As you know that these disorders actually suffer many girls in the world is a bit cruel to read as everything is very well explained, it shows that the author did much homework to write this story and I loved it.

recommend everyone to read it, learn a lot and makes you think, it well worth it. And all without doubt, to him my 4 kittens:
